Respected and valuable G line... in the sweetest package...

Weingrafin is a mare with excellent bloodlines, 100% Hanoverian, registered with CSHA. With a calm and quiet temperament, she is easy to handle and uncomplicated. Proud daughter of the G line, who is recognized throughout the world as THE most important Hanoverian line for producing international caliber horses, in both dressage and jumping. Weingrafin’s pedigree includes the pillar of the G line, Goldfisch II, 3 times.

Weingrafin did it all in her youth: dressage, jumper, and even lessons! She is a good minded, easygoing mare, and she began her broodmare career in 2009 with the birth of her first foal. She is a great addition to our broodmare band, descending from the Norwega damline (hannover stamm 744). Her granddam, St.Pr. Goldine, is also dam to St.Pr.Akelei, wich is dam to approved Hanoverian stallions Falkenstern I and II. St.Pr. Goldine is also full sister to approved stallion and GrandPrix jumper Gotthardsen. You will also notice that Weingrafin’s pedigree includes an unusually high number of State Premium mares.

Regor Blue, by Rhythm'n Blue - 2009

When Weingrafin arrived at our farm, she was heavily in foal for her previous owner. Regor Blue, bred by Genevieve Brunet, was born at Autumn's Stables in mid-July 2009, and went back to his breeder at weaning. He was later sold and is growing into a tall, quite modern young gentleman.

2010

Weingrafin was bred in 2010 with Banderas (Balou du Rouet x Grannus) but despite confirmed in foal at 16 days, she was not anymore at 28. Because it was so late in the season, we decided to give her a year off.

Cashmere, by Cabardino - 2011

Cashmere was born after Weingrafin's broodmare services were retained by Sandra Vaillancourt and Sophie Roy in order to create their next top hunter (and likely Jumper one day!) prospect. Flashy, very intelligent and the most unique cheerfull personnality!

More information

2012

3 of our mares were already confirmed in foal when time to think about breeding Weingrafin arised. As we'll always prefer quality over quantity, Weingrafin got lucky and spent the winter as a pasture ornament.

2013

Weingrafin has been confirmed in foal to Celle stallion Dauphin, for a 2013 foal. We hope for a filly to keep as a future broodmare, but we will glady offer a colt option in utero reservation at a special price for the serious buyer.

Hanoverian stallion Weingraf

WEINGRAF
(under construction)

Hanoverian stallion Graphit

GRAPHIT was a versatile stallion, and his progeny was successful in almost every disciplines. He sired valuable stallions as Grannus and Grundstein, who went to compete up to Grand Prix in Dressage and ranked in the 1999 WBFSH as the world's most successful dressage sire. Graphit seemed to work well in combination with Gotthard, just like in Weingrafin's pedigree. Pilot was out of a Graphit mare, just like Don Gregory.

Hanoverian stallion Grande

GRANDE's sons achieved great fame as sires: Galsritter developed into a producer of jumpers of international class. Garibaldi II sired the U.S. dressage champion Gifted as well as many show jumpers. Grande is the sire of Graphit as well as the damsire of Brentano II.

Hanoverian stallion Gotthard

GOTTHARD was born in 1949, and never really stood out as a sire maker... But he earned his place into the Hall of Fame among the best stallions of the Century through his daugthers... He was also a great producer of top-level competitors. He was the leading sire of showjumpers in Germany for 7 years. He can count among his sons stallions like Goldberg, the Gardestern brothers, Goldpilz, Goldstern, Genever and Godehart. Gotthard also sired over fifty international showjumpers, like Goya and Goldika (who won 3 Nations Cup), and is grandsire to Genius, the World Cup Showjumping Champion of 1992. 25 of his daughters were given the State Premium title, in wich we count St.Pr.Goldine, the granddam of Weingrafin. Voltaire was out of a Gotthard dam!

Hanoverian stallion Sender

SENDER was born in 1955, and his best-known stallion sons were probably Saloniki, Salute and Sendbote. Sender provided a line that interestingly, has produced one of the most famous Dressage competitor of all time: Salinero (Anky van Grunsven), as well as his full brother, the showjumper Seven Up (Athen's Olympic Games for Korea).
