Performance without parting with prettiness and refinement...

Taï Chi is, to our knowledge, one of the only two daughters of Tycoon (by Donaumonarch) in all North America. The second one, TSF Amazing Grace, imported from Germany, went on to win the silver medal at the North American Championships in eventing (juniors and young riders) in 2010 with her talented rider Missy Miller!!

Tai Chi is currently under full time dressage training with an FEI dressage rider. She is offered for sale and reasonnably priced under 20 000$. Price is subject to change with training.

Trakehner stallion Tycoon

TYCOON, Taï Chi's sire, is a self-confident and dynamic, extremely athletic and masculine stallion with a very good canter and spectacular trot. He is also a remarkable jumper. Tycoon passed his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 1996, finishing 13th out of 50. He competed successfully in both showjumping and dressage before concentrating mainly on stud duties. Tycoon has an exceptionally performance oriented pedigree. His sire Donaumonarch was an international showjumper. Dam-sire Damaskus was successful in both jumping and dressage. His grand-dam, Tugend, is also mother of the Premium Stallion Tolstoi, who sired the Champion Stallions Farinelli (NMS 1996) and Freudenfest (NMS 1999). Tugend is also mother of the international showjumpers Tiflis and Trenk Quattro. The first German cross country Champion, Tümmler, sire of Tenor and Tivano, comes from the same motherline. Tycoon himself has produced some outstanding stock and has acquired a good reputation especially as a dam sire. Not only famous Lantana, mother of the Champion Stallion Le Rouge, is his daughter but so is the mother of C'est Bon, who was Reserve Stallion in the same year.Video of Tycoon

Trakehner stallion Donaumonarch

DONAUMONARCH, Tycoon's sire, is a performance-oriented stallion with a top class pedigree. His Thoroughbred sire, Sir Shostakovich xx, was stationed with the Holsteiner breeder's association, because of his pedigree and enormous jumping ability. Sir Shostakovich xx sired two approved sons in Holstein from his first foal crop. Grandsire Rheingold xx, in addition to several other wins, won the prestigious Prix de l' Arc de Triomphe, a sure indicator of class, ability and stamina. Donaumonarch is linebred four times to Nearco xx and two times to Furioso's sire, Precipitation xx. The mother line of Donaumonarch is the Trakehner main studbook family of Donna. His dam Donauquelle and her daughters won the coveted federal mare family award in 1994. Many, many state premium mares descend from this family. Donaumonarch followed an excellent stallion performance test with several "S" jumping tournament wins. He placed second of the German team at the Nation's Cup in Insterburg. If you are looking for the best in jumping talent, combined with the type and refinement of the Trakehner/Thoroughbred cross, look no further.

Thoroughbred stallion Sir Shostakovich

SIR SHOSTAKOVICH, Donaumonarch's sire, is known as one of the most popular Thoroughbred stallions in the Trakehner breeding program. He raced and won in both Ireland and Germany. Also worth mentioning is the impressive jumping ability of his progeny, which might be the reason why the Holsteiner bought him.

Thoroughbred stallion Nijinsky II

NIJINSKY II, usually known in the United States as Nijinsky II, was a Canadian-bred, Irish-trained Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. He was the outstanding two-year-old in Europe in 1969 when he was unbeaten in five races. In the following season he became the first horse for thirty-five years to win the English Triple Crown. He was also historically important for establishing the international reputation of his sire Northern Dancer. Retired to stud he became the Leading sire in Great Britain and Ireland and the Leading broodmare sire in North America.
