Aliano et N.McIntosh

Aliano is a young, promising stallion. At his stallion licencing in 2005, he was Site Champion, had the best overall score of all stallions presented in Canada this year, and 3rd best overall score for all North America. In 2006, at the ISR Oldenburg/NA foal inspection, 2 of the 3 Aliano's foals were Premium, and one got the 2nd best score for all North America for 2006. In 2007, it was seven of his foals who received their Premium title.

Showing above average gaits, and a hard to beat willingness to please, Aliano is currently schooling 4th level in dressage, with FEI Rider Neil McIntosh. His pedigree also displays a good amount of jumper blood, and it contributes to make Aliano a polyvalent sire. Brentano II

Brentano II was Champion Stallion at the stallion licensing in Verden 1985 and runner-up in the stallion performance test in 1986. He is by the famous sire Bolero, who was a foundation sire of very top class. Bolero always passed on to his progeny nobility, excellent movements and a high talent for dressage. Brentano II is probably his best siring son. Like his father, he is a very rideable dressage horse and highly esteemed as a hereditary transmitter of rideability and rhythmic motions.

One of Brentano's successful dressage offspring is the mare Brentina Z (rider: Debbie McDonald, USA), who convincingly won the individual and team gold medals at the PanAmerican Games in 1999, and who in 2001 achieved the highest grand prix score ever by an American horse. At the 2002 Olympics, McDonald and Brentina achieved two seconds and a third in individual events, and led the USA to team silver. Brentano II is also the sire of Bona Dea II, who was Champion mare 2000 at the famous Hanoverian broodmare show, the Ratje-Niebuhr-Show. Brentano II was chosen Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2003.

Brentano II has also sired Bennetton's Dream, the Hanoverian stallion who won the Budenschampionates for 3yo in dressage at Verden and winner of his stallion licencing in 2007.

Stallion Performance Test (SPT): Adelheidsdorf in 2002:
Dressage: 125.13 | jump: 99.17 | Overall: 115.44

Owned by Marefield Meadows (USA)
Leased by / Stand at stud at : Landgestüt Celle, Germany.

Don Bosco

Dauphin is a type Donnerhall son from an outstanding mother line developed at Groenwohldhof where his sire stood for breeding. The dam side brings an additional legacy of performance blood to the stellar heritage of Dauphin’s legendary father. There are three older sisters who have already earned their SPS or EM status and additionally have shown in competitions.

Marefield Meadows, his breeder, was fortunate when Dauphin was invited to join 49 other colts in the 11-Month Stallion Performance Test at Adelheidsdorf. He was the only privately-owned stallion of the group and he was given the headstall number 50. His earnest work ethic seemingly indicated that he was trying hard to prove the number on his bridle would not determine the rank of his standing at the end of the training period. The German breeders who followed the young stallions as they progressed in their careful and thorough program were favorably impressed with Dauphin’s swinging back and happy attitude. “For him it’s like play; the riding is a game to him” was the report from one breeder who viewed Dauphin at the first public presentation of the training group. And those who visited him in his stall commented on his kind nature and good manners.

He also showed a sturdy toughness when he made it through the entire training and testing period barefoot. There were quite a few in this group of young stallions who were highly talented in jumping but Dauphin managed to hold his own by finishing in the middle of the pack, a surprising placement for a horse from bloodlines that typically are considered almost exclusively for dressage. By the end of the test he had earned a score in dressage that ranked him fourth in the group, and Dauphin was invited to remain at Celle on breeding lease.

Our foals by Dauphin:

Don Bosco

This lovely tempered stallion has tons of presence and managed to produce two licensed sons with his first crop one of them Verden licensing winner Don Crusador, who received outstanding critiques in the supra-regional hippological and sports press. The Don Bosco get takes on their sires kind and willing attitude as well as his well set neck and shoulder conformation. The nick of Donnerhall with Pik Bube-line mares has proven itself to be one of the utmost reliability in producing excellent dressage horses. Peolpe who visited him at Celle, are describing him as: Quite handsome, very large horse, both in frame and height. Has a lot of presence, very friendy. He definitely improves the topline and generally adds size and rideability. Don Bosco is an impressive horse with a neckset and presence that is very hard to find. All his offspring so far are keen to please and very easy to bring along.

Don Bosco has had high placements in conformation show classes and has won a number of show jumper competitions. He passes on his excellent movement and bouncy gaits to his progeny who are of modern style and type. His first crop of foals resulted in a number of state premium mares. Don Bosco is a very high improver in riding type and conformation. He has 4 licensed sons, 31 state premium mares and 65 auction horses.

Our foals by Don Bosco:
We plan to use Don Bosco in the future.

Fabriano

Most German breeders know of the wonderful temperament, willing attitude and work ethic given by Fabriano. Rideability is of utmost importance to the vast majority of competitors today.

Dr. Wilkens, managing director of the VhW, calls Fabriano “one of the best performance horse producers of Hannover’s breeding program today.” (The Hanoverian - December 1999) Fabriano passes on to his progeny elasticity, very good gaits, jumping ability and rideability together with a very good character.

Fabriano was winner of the 1990 Stallion Performance Test, placing first in jumping and fourth in dressage, Fabriano demonstrated his versatility which was confirmed in his offspring. Fabriano has the charm and good looks of his Absatz heritage, a particularly good wither and croup. His movements are rhythmical and flowing with excellent engagement of the hind quarters, a very free shoulder and an uncomplicated mind. Fabriano's daughters showed excellent scores in all categories of the Hanoverian Mare Inspections and Mare Performance Tests. His performance offspring have also performed well in both dressage and jumping, up to grand prix level in both, giving Fabriano excellent breeding scores in all areas.

According to the Hannoveraner Jahrbuch Hengste (Hanoverian Stallion Yearbook), Fabriano scored 136 on his mare’s dressage qualities, 125 on their jumping abilities and 157 on their foundation (leg scores/correctness), making him one of the very few stallions on the Hanoverian Verband’s “Toplist” for siring both outstanding dressage and jumping qualities.

Fabriano has produced eleven approved sons and over 80 state premium mares. To date he has presented 75 candidates and 21 foals for the Verden elite auctions.

Fidertanz

Fidertanz was the Vice Champion at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf with a score of 9.5 from the guest rider. In 2006 he was awarded the main premium for stallions with emphasis on dressage in Oldenburg in recognition of his outstanding first foal crop. In 2007, Fidertanz received a score of 8.8 in a qualifier for the Bundeschampionat and thus fulfilled the performance requirements for licensing. He meanwhile collects ribbons in dressage up to St. Georges.

His offspring are highly coveted and bring top prices – proved by high priced foals in Verden, Vechta, Münster-Handorf and in Switzerland. In 2008 a Fidertanz colt bred by Elisabeth Albers in Löningen won the German Foal Championships in Lienen. Six of Fidertanz' sons from his first crop were licensed, including the NRW Champion Stallion Flanagan, who later participated in the Bundeschampionat. The number of licensed sons has meanwhile increased to 16. Among these was a price highlight at the Stallion Market in Verden named Feuerspiel who came with a price tag of 220,000 Euros and a son named Fürstentanz who took sixth place at the 2010 Bundeschampionat.

Fidertanz' daughters are of no less significance, for example the Oldenburg Champion Mare, Fifty-Fifty, who had already taken the Champion Filly title at the German Foal Championships in Lienen and has now been sold to the Rothenberg dressage stables for further training. Florencia became the ZfdP Champion Mare, Fider's Tanzmarie was the 2nd Reserve Champion Mare in Münster-Handorf. 70 offspring just from his first two crops are now winning ribbons in tests for young riding horses and dressage horses which, according to the FN's predicted breeding value statistics, catapulted their sire to a top place among the best sires in Germany for rideability.

Fidertanz is by Fidermark I, the winner of his stallion performance test, Bundeschampion and Grand Prix winner who left the breeding stage early. His dam, granddam and great granddam from the performance line of Astfläche all received a State Premium.

Graf Top I

Celle's state stud sire Graf Top by Graf Grannus is on the way to become one of the best jumper horse producers with his first descendants, which now cause a stir in international competition.

A very successful combination of Hanoverian and Holsteiner performance genes is found in the pedigree of the Celle State stallion Graf Top. His sire, Graf Grannus, and the sire of his dam, Calypso II, are both excellent producers of show jumping horses. With this pedigree and his own excellent jumping abilities, there are no better bloodlines in showjumping pedigrees. A lot of significance and expression mark this well-framed, correct stallion of good riding horse type.

Graf Top is one of the rare stallions whose offspring are equally attractive for both the jumpers and dressage. As far as we can see he improves both basic gaits as well as jumping ability and seems to consistently pass on his own willingness to perform. As of 2006 he has 245 offspring competing under saddle. Among these already 5 have been successful up to 5'3'' while his oldest children are only 8 years old. He has also sired 15 states premium daughters so far and has 7 licensed sons so far one of which was named champion jumping stallion at his licensing (Go on Top, Verden main licensing 2002).

Sir Gregory is a very modern type stallion, of striking good-looks, with a beautiful head and neck. He has very correct conformation, his gaits are powerful, with a lot of elasticity, very good use of the hind leg, and he already shows a very good ability to collect. Sir Gregory also has a very good temperament, he is kind, smart and learns quickly, this goes hand and hand with his high rideability.

Sir Gregory's sire Sir Donnerhall was the 2nd reserve champion at the Oldenburg stallion licensing in 2003, he then went on to win his 70 day test at Adelheidsdorf in 2005 with a dressage index of 163. In 2007, he successfully completed his 100 day test at Paxton Farm, Ohio, USA where he received a perfect 10 for his character, 9 for temperament and the rest were all 8’s.
