Sioux Zoom was purchased by Autumn's Stables in 2005. In 2006, in order to downsize our herd after our move to Mt.Laurier, we sold Sioux Zoom to Anouk Prefontaine (Les Écuries du Bercail, Mt-Laurier, Qc.) who bred her a first time that summer, and got a anglo-trakehner foal in 2007. Then, in 2008, as a consequence of a change of business activities from her owner, she came back to our farm to foal out her second foal, this time by Aliano. Sioux then stayed on board for the summer and when fall came, she left on a long term breeding lease to an Ontario couple, Mr. K. Rintoul and Mrs. B. Szygiel, where she still is.

It is an interesting fact to notice that Sioux's sire, Zaizoom, is out of a Turn To daughter. Tunr To is a highly praised sire of sport horse thoroughbreds (in both jumping and eventing). It was recently mentionned that Turn To is found in "at least 17.5% of all top-ten finishing 4-Star, Olympic and WEG horses in the last 5 years". Turn To was an exceptionnal sire of tremendous sporhorses, and he is frequently found throughout his sons Sir Gaylord, Roberto and Best Turn. Best Turn sired the fambous Hand in Glove, wich in turn sired Jaguar Mail and Hogger Mail (Selle Francais)! Hand in Glove has raced, then competed in Dressage up to Prix St.George, and finally ended his sportive career as a showjumper. He was exported to France, where he was leading sire for eventers in 2002. Hand in Glove was approved in more thant 15 different registries in Europe and around the world.
