Serenti Serenti Serenti Serenti

Serenti: Canadian Warmblood mare carrying Ramiro Z, Sandsturm and Poprad bloodlines. Premium producer.

The mare with whom everybody falls in love...

Wherever Serenti goes, she is always the barn favourite. Impeccable manners, happy-friendly personality, she combines a beautiful neck, head and shoulders with strong hindlegs, a light and floating trot, very good undersaddle dispositions and a good technique over fences. Serenti has been professionnally started at 4, then began her broodmare career. In 2009, she has been on a riding lease to an advanced dressage rider for 10 month, with whom she schooled solid training - 1st level.

Full brother to Serenti is Maskerade ("El Diablo"), who showed successfully for several years at Provincial and National level in hunters with his a/o (including the Royal). Isadora, another Geronimo II daughter, is dam to Scarlett (by Sir Wanabi), bred and owned by F. Guenet. Scarlett was 3rd at Devon (yearling fillies classes), Canadian Champion (CSHA yearling fillies) and Reserve-Champion (junior fillies) at the RWF in 2008.

Serenti's dam was a Polish Trakehner mare, imported by clients of well-known Mrs. Eve Mainwaring as a top showjumper. An injury resumed her career soon after her arrival in Canada, and she was bought by a breeder as a broodmare. Tracking down polish trakehner pedigree is not for the faint of the heart... Informations are being added to this section on a regular basis.

Autumn's Stables

Hanoverian stallion Sendbote

S LINE:
Serenti's sire, Geronimo II, descends from the hanoverian S line that tracks back to the Trakehner stallion Semper Idem. Semper Idem came to Germany after World War II and produced the famous Senator, a remarkable stallion who gave his name to the line. This horse redefined the meaning of "athletic show jumper", even to this day: his descendant Stakkato stands at stud in Celle in 2006. Semper Idem was best known for producing jumping offspring, and founded a breeding line that is one of today’s hottest tickets in showjumping. Senator was a handsome stallion of such excellent type seldom seen in the mid 50's. Senator produced 40 approved sons, mostly show jumpers and his most significant son were undoubtedly Sender. Sender was in his time the top sire of showjumpers in Europe, but his breeding talents were not in showjumping alone, having sired some gifted dressage horses. Sender’s best known sons include Saloniki, Salut, Seeloewe, and Sendbote. Sendbote was 4th of 16 at his stallion testing in 1969. Sendbote had an incredible jumping ability that allowed him great success in the showjumping ring. Sandsturm, a Sendbote son, and grandsire of Serenti's father, sired at least 9 approved sons and many State premium daughters. His offspring are competing at the highest FEI levels in dressage and showjumping. He was known for throwing his sound mind and excellent temperament as well. Every dam in Sandsturm’s pedigree is States Premium Mare status, quite an accomplishment

Ramiro Z

RAMIRO Z was labelled "Stallion of the Century". His dam was an internationally famous showjumper and he himself was tremendously successful in competition with many wins in Nations Cups, Puissance and international Grand Prix competitions. He was the top stallion of his performance year (1969) and was declared Horse of the Year at Jumping Amsterdam in 1992. He was one of the two foundation sires of the famous Zangersheide stud and has been responsible for no less than 49 international showjumpers who gave him a 2nd position in the WBFSH listings as sire of international showjumpers world-wide during the period 1991- 2000. His best-known offspring are probably the fabulous showjumping mare Ratina Z.

Trakehner stallion Poprad

POPRAD comes from one of the best jumper lines in the Trakehner breed. He competed twice in the Olympics in Showjumper, at Mexico and Munich, for Poland. Many-time competitor in the Nations Cup (18 times), Poprad was a horse who used to leave his heart in the struggle for laurels in the arenas in the 1960s, and who after his career ended gave to sport and breeding among others: Czaprak, Lampart, Artus, Arion, Aspirant and many others. He was imported to USA at the end of his life, and contributed to the beginning of the NATA/ATA. Poprad is a legend in Polish equestrian sport. He passed onto his offspring stamina, pretty head of a good shape, a long neck and dark coat. Rarely you will see his valuable blood for performance so close in today's horse pedigree.
