We are proud to introduce you to Special Song. Son of the Legendary Sandro Hit!
Special Song is being raised at our farm as a potential stallion prospect, in partnership with Melissa Lamontagne.
Special Song is a very promising young men and already demonstrates a perfect modern and refined style, lofty and light footed trot with terrific front legs and lots of engagment. He’s a kind young men, curious and well-meaning personnality…Now 16 hands at 24 months of age, we expect him to mature between 16.2 to 16.3 hands.
Special Song (aka « Spike ») is a perfect gentleman, always willing to participate in all new things and situations we introduce him, with calm and intelligence. The deep respect and blind trust he puts in us consistantly surprises us. Now more a young men than a foal, he knows how to be carefull towards humans, and be proud in front of the ladies. He’s a colt of a rare beauty and his gaits are out of this world, even in this akward period of an horse’s life.

Combining the refining bloodlines of Anglo-Arabians through Hanoverian approved stallion Mont du Cantal, with the very foundations of the respected D and E lines (Duft II and Eisenherz) therefore making Special Song “special” and very modern in type. A different choice for North American breeders. |

SANDRO HIT (sire of Special Song) is undoubtely THE dominant producer of dressage sires nowadays: At the 2006 Oldenburg Licencing, six of the 10 stallions (out of 37 licenced) selected for the premium ring carried his blood. Four were Sandro Hit sons, and two were by is sons. The champion was by Stedinger/QuattroB (Stedinger is a son of Sandro Hit, and was himself a licencing champion). The reserve champion of the licencing was a Sandro Hit/Don Gregory son and the third place stallion was by Sandro Hit/Plaisir d’Amour. Sandro Hit progeny are breaking all price-records, are annually winning championships and are Approval Champions. His success in breeding is no coincidence. His dam, elite mare Loretta, is as a dominant producer virtually unbeatable. She produced the Reserve World Champion and Reserve German Young Horse Champion Diamond Hit and the highly elegant 1c premium stallion Royal Hit. Her sire Ramino was Stallion Performance Test Champion and later on five times italian Champion. Welt As from the third generation is one of the most influencial producers over the last years, amongst others he sired Olympic Gold medallist Bonfire (ridden by Anky Van Grunsven).
Sandro Hit, a strinkingly beautiful black horse, brilliant type with quality movement, has a sheer black gene. The supporters of Hanoverian stud found him particularly interesting and once again he brought the highest price at every single foal auction in Verden. |

Mont du Cantal brings new and interesting Anglo-Arabian bloodlines to the Hanoverian breed. Having produced over 30 State Premium mares and the approved sons Margue H, Montezuma and Monticelli I. One of the most popular and in high demand non-Hanoverian stallions in the Hanover region of Germany. Mont du Cantal demonstrates good manners, consistantly transmits excellent movement and disposition. His progeny illustrate equal talents for dressage (S-level : Margue H), jump (Montezuma; highest scoring jumper index at his Performance tests at Prussendorf 1996) and in the Hunter ring his son Milan (placing 6th in the Country (USA) in 2006, A/O 35+ division at A-Rated shows).

Sandro Song, an exceptional stallion in his own right with most impressive high qualities such as; presence, spectacular movement, amazing jumping ability, remarkable capabilities for learning and performing which are some of the traits this stallion transmits with great force to his offspring. His career began as the undisputable Champion at his Performance test in 1990, finishing with an unbelievable score of 130 (dressage index : 133.11/Jumping index : 124.55) then concluding his first year of success producing an impressive first foal crop. Hence two years later (1992) the Oldenburg Verband granted Sandro Song the title of « Elite Hengst ». This multi talented stallion not only mastered the most advanced movements in Dressage but has proved his talents in the jumper ring too and through his son Sandro Hit, a new dynasty of breeding stallions developed world wide. Sandro Song himself has proven his reproduction quality with numerous approved sons, State Premium daughters, dressage and jumper performers competing successfully at the highest levels.
