We offer our broodmares the best care possible, a personalized dietary plan, visited regularly by veterinarian and farrier. All provided in a nice calm, peaceful living environment and allowing their foals to grow to their full potentials. They have access to safe paddocks and large stalls when needed or for foaling.
Our broodmares are all APPROVED for breeding by one or more breed associations. They were chosen for their good conformations, athletic capabilities, and especially their excellent characters. Each year, we make shure to pick for each of them the perfect stallion, who will compliment her the best. |

Without doubts, Serenti is our barn favorite. A lady personnality, nice neck, powerfull hindquarters, light and fluid trot, excellent dispositions under saddle, and good scope over fence (RAMIRO Z influence). Furthermore, her dam’sire, POPRAD, was twice on Poland’s Olympic Showjumping Team (Mexico and Munich). She is a precious addition to our breeding program. Masquerade, her full brother (same dam, same sire) is regulary int the top 5 of the Province, and often invited at the Royal Winter Fair, both with his A/O and Junior riders (picture of Masquerade, thanks to Mrs. Virginie Kaigle for the photo of Serenti’s brother).
Her first filly (2005) by holsteiner stallion Aliano, was sold as weanling, and is heading for a dressage career with her owner. April 2007, Serenti gave us BELLE DE JOUR (FOR SALE see: foals 2007), by Hanoverian stallion BRENTANO II (via frozen semen). Brentano II is a Celle State Stud legend, and was honored by the title of Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2003. Sire of Olympic Medallist BRENTINA Z (ridden by Debbie McDonald), he is reputed to produce horses with tremendous rideability, with great dressage dispositions. He is seeked after, all around the world, as a quality mare producer. Belle de Jour was awarded Premium filly and Site Reserve-Champion Filly of her inspection with Oldenburg NA, over more than 12 fillies presented that day. Juge was very impressed and pleased to see a Brentano II filly born in Quebec.

Arabel is our inspiration. She was Jessica’s show partner, competing 3 seasons in dressage with her (training level, 1st level), then a 4th one in hunter (with a junior rider). Always in the ribbons, she also earned at her CWHBA mare inspection a well deserved 8 for her walk (comment of Mrs Eve Mainwaring, judge: «excellent walk») as well as many 7’s (conformation, impulsion, general impression, frame, front and hindlegs). At ISR/OldNA inspection, she scored honestly, with many 7’s and no scores under 6.
Arabel is closely related (through her grandsire Arkansas) to highly respected Celle State Studs stallions Escudo I and II. She is the ideal broodmare to produce excellent prospects for A/O riders who wish to find the perfect partner.
Arabel is an exceptional mother. Her foals are people oriented, intelligent, interested to whatever situation they are involved in. She consistently transmits strong and powerfull croup and hindlegs, good frame, and BRAIN. First we tought that Arabel would give us smaller sized prospect (wich is ideal size for smaller riders or talented juniors), but Alissia, who earned an 8 for her conformation at her foal inspection), will mature over 16 hands, and Alicante is following her big sister’s steps. Because Alissia and Alicante both overreached our expectations, we had no choices but try this combination for a third time. Arabel is now in foal again, for june 2009, to Holsteiner stallion Aliano.

Cordova is a stunning, larger framed mare, registered and branded Oldenburg (Verband), with 100% holsteiner bloodlines. She was bred and bord for the jumper ring, and combines correct conformation and nice swing and elasticity in her gaits. Cordova was, prior to become a broodmare, professionnaly trained for the big hunter ring. In 2007, her owner presented her for Holsteiner approval (AHHA), where she went to win the Site Reserve-Champion Mare ribbon and Premium award. Then, in 2008, she has been inspected with the Oldenburg Verband (GOV) and even with the exigant colt at her side, she came back home with a nice 7.5 for impulsion and elasticity, and a score who placed her in their Main Mare Book.
On a course, Cordova is willing in front of the jumps, does automatic lead changes, and shows very good style over obstacles. Always in the 3 first places, she delivers also in the hack. She has an alert and endearing personnality, and got that presence you want to see emanate from winners.
Elizabeth, the owner of Cordova, gives us an incredible opportunity to have Cordova in our broodmare band for 2007-2009. In may 2007, she gave to her owner a lovely filly (Zenya, see: foals 2007) by Cotopaxi. Zenya started her career by receiving a Premium filly award at her AHHA inspection, with 15 bonits (7/8). For 2008, Cordova presented us proudly with Gratitude (by Graf Top i) well built and well minded. For 2009, she is safely in foal to Holsteiner stallion Campesino, who was sadly humanely euthanasied last October.
