Hanoverian stallion De Niro

DE NIRO - 2008 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year - is referred to as "the embodiment of the Hanoverian stallion." De Niro is an exceptional stallion of superlative type and performance. Since reaching the auctions, De Niro's foals have fetched top prices everywhere they appear. De Niro's daughters are excelling and his riding horses are excellent. De Niro is becoming one of the most sought-after sires in Germany. He is a big, strong, athletic horse with a very friendly disposition. In 2000, De Niro was declared the best new generation Grand Prix dressage horse, having won at Prix St. Georges, Intermediare I and II and Grand Prix - all at the age of seven! He can also jump, and was considered one of the best jumping stallions at the Verden stallion market in 1995. He created a sensation at his inspection, and he was Reserve Champion of his Stallion Performance Test with the best dressage performance. De Niro was awarded the Ia Main Premium by the Oldenburg Association in 1997 as a result of his overwhelming breeding value rating. De Niro has proven himself through his performance in the show ring and through his offspring's exceptional achievements. Video

Oldenburg stallion Donnerhall

DONNERHALL
Donnerhall is the most successful dressage horse in the world and looks back on an exemplary career. He managed like no other sire of his generation to combine success in breeding and in sport alike. In 1986 Donnerhall was the German DLG Champion in Hanover. After many wins in Grand Prix, Grand Prix Special and freestyle classes at International level he became German champion in Mannheim with his constant rider Karin Rehbein in 1994, team world champion and individual bronze medal winner in The Hague. This was followed by another climax in 1997: Team gold and individual bronze at the European Dressage Championships in Verden. In 1998 he was once more included in the German world championship team and with Karin Rehbein was a member of the gold medal team in Rome, where he attained fourth place in the individual results. Donnerhall won the World Cup European League, as well as being the Oldenburg dressage stallion of the year in 1997 and 1998 respectively.

Hanoverian approved Thoroughbred stallion Gernegross xx

GERNEGROSS
Gernegross was a thoroughbred stallion, approved by the Hanoverian Verband, who stood at the Landgestut of Celle from 1984 to 1986. Gernegross is the sire of Forrest xx, a stallion we find as the damsire of Shutterfly (Meredith Michael-Beerbaums) and Sir Shutterfly (approved stallion, full brother to Shutterfly).

Donnerwetter

DONNERWETTER
The Hanoverian stallion Donnerwetter was trained up to the Grand Prix level. He made his name on the international scene under Belgian rider Decia De Pauw and from 1989 onwards under Herbert Rehbein. In 1990, Donnerwetter was sold by Gronwoldhof to Winsome Farms in Virginia. No stallion has been given a greater retirement than this extraordinary horse. He was loved and cherished by his last rider, Suzanne Erickson. Donnerwetter was a suberb stallion and is the sire of legendary Donnerhall. Donnerwetter's offspring are known for being highly intelligent, forward, with an excellent canter, and ability to collect. His progeny were not only good producers of breeding stock but were also high quality riding horses, many reaching the Grand Prix level.

Akzent II

AKZENT II
Regarded as one of the best producers of rideability in modern day horse breeding, Akzent II has frequently made the news by his presentation of sensational stallion sons and expensive auction horses. He is found in many top broodmares pedigree as well as Grand Prix horses and approved stallions, both in Oldenburg and Hanoverian.

Woermann

WOERMANN
When licensed in 1973, Woermann became a new standard for type, frame and movement. His elastic, rhythmic and elevated trot was unseen before. Woermann sons are producing very correct horses with very good movement. One of the outstanding post World War 2 Hanoverian stallions. Woermann is the sire of World Cup I who in return sired the legendary Weltmeyer.
